A beautiful chocolate box character detached thatched cottage set in the lovely hamlet of Atherington, North Devon sleeping 6 + travel cot.
The cottage is set in a picturesque setting, ideal for those seeking to relax and unwind. It is only a short stroll to the local post office/general stores and tea rooms serving cream teas and lunches.
There is excellent walking, fishing, horseriding and a golf course surrounding the area with delightful character pub restaurants all within a short drive serving excellent food.
The cottage has three delightful bedrooms; master en-suite with power shower and king-size bed and two further twin bedded rooms and further seperate bathroom with shower.
There is a large beamed living room with wood burning fire in feature stone fireplace. Widescreen TV, Video and DVD player. Beamed dining room with Yew furniture. Modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher etc. Downstairs WC. There is also a large selection of books and games.
At the rear of the cottage is a gravel and stone seating area which acts as a sun trap with flower beds and a water feature. There are steps to the large, pretty garden with patio and built in barbecue which receives the sun all day long. Parking for two cars.
It is only fifteen minutes drive to the soft sandy beach of Instow and the delightful Boathouse Restaurant and pub. Croyde, Braunton Sands, Appledore and Woolacombe are all close by. There are many and varied attractions for both children and adults. The bustling town of Barnstaple and the market town of South Molton are only 10 minutes drive away.
